Reserve Forces

Reservist from M-EC

M-EC welcomes career applications from people who are actively serving or considering joining the Reserve Forces. Working alongside SaBRE we have developed our company policies and contracts of employment to enable colleagues to balance both their professional career at M-EC and be active in the Reserve Forces.

M-EC supported the Uniform to Work Day on Wednesday 25 June, in the run up to the sixth annual Armed Forces Day on Saturday 28 June.

Reservist Phillip Mabbitt hung up his usual work clothes and proudly don his Service uniform to demonstrate the huge contribution that ordinary citizens make to the Armed Forces.

The UK Reserve Forces are made up of members of the public who train, work and deploy with their counterparts in the full time regular services, and are an essential and integral part of the UK’s defence capability.

The UK’s Reserve Forces, represented by the Royal Naval Reserve, Royal Marine Reserve, Territorial Army and Royal Air Force Reserves make a significant contribution to the nation’s defence and security.
