Geo-Environmental Engineer
Jimesh is a geo-environmental engineer with over 10 years’ experience in the environmental consultancy and ground investigation sectors. He was worked on projects ranging from major national infrastructure and heavy industry sites, to greenfield residential developments and private individual clients.
Having graduated with an MSci in Geology from the University of Bristol, Jimesh went on to complete the MSc in Hydrogeology from the University of Birmingham, and is currently a Fellow of the Geological Society of London.
Through his working career, Jimesh has gained a broad range of knowledge with regards to contaminated land and risk assessment, including the completion of GQRAs and DQRAs for controlled waters. He has also developed a wide range of field skills including supervision of drilling, logging, sampling, monitoring, and in-situ testing. Jimesh joined MEC in 2022, and has since been further developing his skill set to include geotechnical appraisals of ground conditions, as well as increased project management responsibilities.
Jimesh’s favourite mineral is lepidolite. Outside of work, Jimesh enjoys reading, playing video games, eating gelato, lifting heavy things, and watching obscure ASMR restoration videos on Youtube.
