Associate Structural Engineer
Perry joined the MEC team in November 2024 as an Associate Structural Engineer to lead our Birmingham Structures team. He has a MSc in Civil and Structural Engineering (2018) and BEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering with Architecture from Coventry University.
Perry has experience across residential, commercial, leisure and manufacturing sectors. His projects include the conversion of Wolverhampton’s former Royal Hospital into 48 apartments with a further 154 new homes, multi-phase residential schemes such as Whitehouse Park, and bespoke housing and apartment developments for national housebuilders including Taylor Wimpey, Redrow and Persimmon.
He has also worked on commercial projects ranging from structural inspections of fire-damaged buildings to steel-frame pavilion and canopy designs. Currently working towards chartership, Perry combines technical expertise with a passion for sustainable, innovative solutions, even designing and building his own home.
In his spare time, he has 2 horses, enjoys motorbikes, football and karate.
