M-EC is delighted to introduce three dynamic and exceptionally talented graduates who have joined this summer, reaffirming M-EC’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions in the fields of transport planning, structural engineering, and flood risk and drainage management.
For several years, M-EC has been at the forefront of offering graduate opportunities, driving the company's dedication to nurturing young talent and fostering personal and professional growth. M-EC take pride in their uniquely tailored approach, which harmonises the aspirations of employees with the long-term objectives of the company, to transform graduates into future leaders.
This summer, Laura Gregson embarked on her journey as a Graduate Transport Planner at M-EC, armed with a robust academic foundation, holding a BSc in Geography from Aberystwyth University. Her strong grasp of geographic principles serves as a solid platform as she charts her course towards becoming chartered with the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT).
Laura enthusiastically shares her thoughts, "I'm thrilled to have commenced my career as a graduate at M-EC; I have learnt so much in the last few months and continue to experience new learning opportunities every day."
Euan Broughton assumes the role of Graduate Structural Engineer, bringing a wealth of knowledge garnered during his studies in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering at the University of Derby. Euan's previous experience as a graduate engineer at BWB Consulting in Nottingham, coupled with his on-site work as a trainee site manager, has fortified his skills and deepened his understanding of structural engineering. Euan is now actively working towards becoming an Incorporated Structural Engineer and is excited about the vast potential he envisions at M-EC.
Euan comments, "I'm truly excited to be in this graduate role with M-EC, working for a conscientious employer to build both my skills and my career, all while providing an excellent service to our valued clients."
Completing this year's trio of graduates is Ben Oyston, who joins M-EC as a Graduate Flood Risk Engineer. His educational journey encompasses undergraduate studies in Geography at the University of Leicester and postgraduate studies in International Disaster Management at the University of Manchester. Ben's unique educational background and expertise make him an invaluable addition to our flood risk and drainage team.
Ben shares his delight, stating, "I'm immensely pleased to be joining the M-EC team in this Flood Risk graduate role and eagerly anticipate advancing my career in the flood risk industry."
The inclusion of Laura, Euan, and Ben reflects M-EC's unwavering commitment to excellence and their ongoing journey of growth as a forward-thinking development technical consultancy. Their diverse backgrounds and unique skill sets will undoubtedly augment their collective capabilities, empowering the team to deliver even more innovative solutions to their valued clients.
M-EC eagerly looks forward to witnessing the remarkable growth and significant contributions that these talented graduates will make to both projects and the shaping the organisations continued expansion.
