MEC Magic proudly made their debut on the Leicester Riders court at Mather Jamie’s annual basketball showdown last week!
Not only was this a great way to practice our long-forgotten basketball skills (some of us having not played since school!) but it was also a chance to test firsthand the extension of the Morningside Arena that we were part of the project delivery team for.
MEC Magic battled against teams from other Midlands businesses in a series of 4 games, before enjoying a delicious curry and refreshments. We placed 6th out of the 8 teams, with our MVP, Dave Torrance impressing the Riders staff and winning fans with his commitment!
Rumours are we’re adding a hoop to the office to begin practicing for next year’s showdown…
