MEC is pleased to announce two well-deserved promotions within our Flood Risk and Drainage team, recognising the hard work, leadership, and technical expertise of our colleagues.
Ryan Chafer has been promoted to Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer. This follows his promotion to Senior Flood Risk Engineer just 12 months ago, when he took on new responsibilities and direct line management. Over the past year, Ryan has grown the team to five members, with the team consistently achieving, and exceeding, overall KPI targets.
Ben Oyston also steps up, moving from Graduate Flood Risk Engineer to a more senior role. Since joining MEC in 2023, Ben has significantly strengthened his technical knowledge and skills in flood risk, while providing valuable support to the wider team.
These promotions reflect the continued growth and capability of our Flood Risk and Drainage department, and we look forward to supporting both Ryan and Ben as they progress in their careers.
