Here at M-EC, we've been working hard to ensure that we have complied with the government's guidance on managing the risks of COVID-19 to enable us to re-open and welcome our staff back into the office.

These five steps include the following:

We have caried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared this with our staff - if you would like to read the risk assessment click here

We have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance

We have taken all reasonable steps to help people work from home

We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace

Where people cannot be 2m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk

The welfare of our staff, clients and suppliers is our priority. In line with government advice we are facilitating staff returning to work at our offices with social distancing in place and every measure to protect from the risks of Covid-19. We remain agile and able to adapt to situations.

We have embraced virtual conferencing for client/project meetings

We have held weekly staff virtual meetings throughout the lockdown period

Line managers have regularly checked in with colleagues whilst they have been working from home

Office, site and cleaning staff have been provided Covid-19 safety guidance and additional PPE

All non-critical business travel has been suspended

We continue to promote sustainable travel, particularly through the Cycle to Work scheme

Our offices have been adapted to enable social distancing and safe working
