We are seeking an Associate/Associate Director Transport Planner to become an integral part of our dynamic Transport team situated at our thriving Leicestershire office. Our Traffic and Transportation division is dedicated to offering our clients meticulously researched insights into the traffic implications of development proposals. We excel in devising solutions that eliminate or alleviate these impacts, leveraging analytical prowess and engineering expertise.
If you're an experienced Transport professional searching for an exhilarating opportunity, this role could be your ideal match. As a key member of our team, you'll report directly to one of our esteemed company Directors. In this role, you'll have the chance to lead your own team and collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly on larger-scale projects. Your responsibilities will encompass the creation and successful execution of projects within stringent timelines, all while upholding the highest standards of technical excellence.
Your scope of influence will span a wide spectrum, ranging from conducting preliminary pre-acquisition feasibility studies to offering strategic guidance. You'll be involved in promoting Local Plans, preparing comprehensive reports for outline and detailed planning applications (including Transport Assessments/Statements, Travel Plans, Environmental Statement Transport Chapters, and preliminary access/junction improvement designs), as well as navigating the complexities of discharging planning conditions and planning appeals.
