Acoustic Air - Noise/Vibration Surveys and Assessments

Our experienced Acoustic Air team is appointed to conduct Environmental Noise Surveys for residential and commercial developments and conduct Acoustic Modelling to maximise developable area. All of our assessments are undertaken in line with the latest guidance from the Institute of Acoustics and Association of Noise Consultants and adhere to the British Standards and Building Regulations throughout all of our projects.

Appointed at several development stages (land acquisition, outline planning and reserved matters applications) by residential clients, our noise and vibration surveys feed into masterplan designs giving consideration to good acoustic design and allowing clients to achieve the vista they desire.

Along with our core business of residential applications, we help commercial developers build desirable developments with maximum flexibility from a noise perspective. We understand the interactions between commercial and residential uses and aim to produce flexible designs that promote sustainable development.

Our team regularly overcame dominant transportation noise sources to achieve maximum developable area whilst giving due consideration to not only planning issues but Building Regulations later down the project line. By addressing these issues early on, we limit surprises and additional costs to developers for a seamless and smooth project lifecycle.
