Geo-Environmental - Material Management Planning

M-EC’s team of in-house experts and associated consultants provide advice to ensure that developers minimise the environmental impact whilst controlling costs and contributing to sustainability.

Any form of site development has the potential to generate surplus, excess or unwanted materials, which require management to limit costs, impact on development programme and compliance with legislation.

Through close liaison with our civil engineering team and other project consultants, our experts can develop site-specific Material Management Plans (MMP’s) to the requirements of CL:AIRE’s Definition of Waste: Development Industry Code of Practice. We also provide Qualified Persons (QPs) who can sign off MMP’s as per the requirements of CL:AIRE.

Our ground investigation services provide support to this process through appropriate sampling to enable the completion of appropriate waste classification testing and WAC analysis where required.
