The expertise of our Acoustic team has helped secure planning consent for a residential development site of 131 new homes.
On behalf of Allison Homes, we prepared an acoustic assessment for a site in Somersham, Huntingdonshire. Our senior acoustic and air quality consultant, Daniel Newbery comments: “Our work on this site actually began a couple of years ago, supporting the outline planning application. We have since worked collaboratively with Allison Homes, the EHO and Huntingdonshire DC to provide recommendations for noise mitigation from the nearby road and bus depot, which were included in our final report that was submitted last month.
“Subsequently, Huntingdonshire District Council has granted Reserved Matters consent and the site can now progress bringing new homes, including 40% affordable housing, for the village.”
