Background and industry experience
Before joining MEC in 2022 Dave operated his own Transport Planning business for 14 years after working for a variety of consultants advising Developer’s on Transport / Highway related matters to maximise their commercial opportunities.
Dave studied for a HNC in Civil Engineering at Gloucester College, which provided a good general knowledge of the Construction Industry before specialising in Transportation some 25 years ago which has led to him being a registered member of The Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation.
Dave specialises specialising in access and transport solutions for clients in a wide range of development sectors including residential, commercial and leisure developments. Expertise includes Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Highway Design, Car Park assessments, Transport Modelling and Construction and Environmental Management Plans.
Dave’s hybrid working between our Leicester office and his home in Worcester opens up local business opportunities in Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire, where Dave has a proven track record.
Outside of work Dave regularly enjoys walking, spin classes, socialising with friends and family and going to cricket and rugby matches.

Barbados but would really like to visit Japan.
What is your favourite film?
Too many films to have a favourite – depends what mood I’m in – favourite TV series is After Life
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A roast.
