Background and industry experience
Nathan joined MEC in June 2019 and has been in the Civil Engineering industry for 7 years now. He was originally in the police force and made the career change when he was 21 with no previous experience in the industry at all.
Nathan completed his Higher National Certificate (HNC) at Coventry University, then went on to achieve his Technician member credentials (EngTech MICE) with the Institute of Civils Engineers (I.C.E).
Outside of work, Nathan likes to play Sunday League Football as well as golf and occasionally the odd Padel tournament.

What is your favourite holiday destination?
Have always loved going to Paphos, Cyprus with family but am going to Rome later this year so that could change!
What is your favourite film?
Tropic Thunder/Rock’n’rolla
What is your favourite thing to do at the weekend?
Play Football on Sundays and spend time with family.
What is your favourite sport to follow?
Football and golf
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
My mams Lasagna
