Planning submitted for a 17.4 acre development in Drakes Broughton

We supported out client, Terra, by providing multi-disciplinary technical due diligence to support this submission for up to 90 new homes.

Plans have been submitted by our client Terra, for outline planning on their 17.4-acre site at Mill Lane Nursery, Drakes Broughton, Pershore.

The proposals include up to 90 new homes, alongside open space and supporting infrastructure, designed to integrate with the existing village setting.

Our team supported the planning submission through a multi-disciplinary approach, providing technical input across flood risk, air quality, noise, geo-environmental, and utilities. This included a comprehensive Flood Risk Assessment, confirming the site is suitable for development; an Air Quality and Acoustic Assessment were carried out to ensure local environmental standards are met; and a Geo-Environmental Study assessing ground conditions and soil infiltration.

The Utilities team carried out a Utility Assessment identified suitable connection strategies for clean water, foul drainage, gas, electricity, and telecommunications, helping to inform a coordinated and sustainable approach to delivery.

We look forward to seeing the project progress through planning and contribute to housing growth across Worcestershire.
