M-EC have supported Residential land specialist Terra with technical expertise to deliver a 27.3-acre hybrid scheme.
Residential land specialist Terra instructed M-EC as the lead technical consultant for a mixed-use scheme of up to 320 new homes and a care home in Boston, Lincolnshire.
The 27.3-acre site, located off Toot lane, has been submitted as a hybrid planning application for a detailed first phase of 153 homes in a mix of one, two, three and four bedrooms with a proposed care home and a further 320 homes submitted in an outline form. M-EC provided support and technical expertise on various pre-planning matters, with the remit to overcoming any fundamental problems ahead of planning.
The overall technical expertise and services include:
- Geomatics – A topographical survey.
- Transport – Transport Assessment, Travel plan and Traffic Surveys.
- Lighting – Lighting Assessment report and layout.
- Flood Risk & Drainage – Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage strategy.
- Acoustic Air – Acoustic Assessment and Overheating assessment to support newly introduced Approved Document O regulations.
- Utilities – Utilities Report and Constraints plan.
- Geo-Environmental – Phase 1 ground investigation.
With the benefit of in-house teams, M-EC were able to provide an all-encompassing approach to ensure the application has the best possible chance of achieving approval.
