Background and industry experience
Mahdi joined MEC in February 2026 as a Graduate Transport Planner, so he is at the beginning of his career in this industry.
Mahdi graduated with a 2:1 in BSc Geography (Hons) in July 2025.
In Mahdi’s spare time, he likes playing video games, writing, window-shopping, and looking up places to travel to around the world. He does want to learn languages too.
About me
What is your favourite holiday destination?
So far, my favourite destination to have travelled to is Almeria, Spain. Visited Tabernas Desert, which was quite cool, you could just find asparagus growing in the desert. Ultimately, I’d love to explore Asia in general and other desert places.
What is your favourite film?

What is your favourite thing to do at the weekend?
On the weekends I like talking to my friends about the things we window-shopped and look at jewellery or random things, or play videogames with them and talk all day.
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I could eat smiley-face chips forever haha.
