MEC is pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted in two categories at The Business Desk East Midlands Business of the Year Awards 2026, receiving recognition in both the Investment Award and Fast Growth Business Award categories.
The shortlist follows a detailed submission and judging interview, with the awards recognising businesses that have demonstrated strong performance, sustainable growth and a commitment to investing in their future.
The nominations reflect a significant period of growth for MEC. Over recent years, we have continued to invest in our people, expanded our multidisciplinary services, opened new offices and strengthened the support we provide to clients across the UK. These investments, combined with a collaborative approach across the business, contributed to our strongest year to date.
Being recognised in both categories is a reflection of the hard work and commitment of our team. Every project delivered, every client relationship built and every new opportunity secured has played a part in the progress we’ve made as a business.
The next stage of the awards process will see MEC attend the Finalist Presentation Day in September, where the judging panel will meet with shortlisted businesses before selecting the overall winners.
