Background and industry experience
Amy joined MEC in May 2016 as a Technical Co-ordinator within the Civils team. She has since progressed into Operations, which has led her to her current position. Before working at MEC, Amy worked across the hospitality, logistics, import, and retail sectors, primarily in administrative roles.
Most of Amy’s spare time revolves around her two girls, Mila and Pippa, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. As a family, they love getting outdoors for walks and baking together. Amy also enjoys horse riding, gardening (although she’s not particularly successful at keeping plants alive), and dabbling in a bit of home DIY.

What is your favourite holiday destination?
By far my favourite destination is Barbados. I love the relaxed way of life there and the beaches are truly beautiful! The animal flower caves are also worth a visit.
What is your favourite film?
I am not sure I can name one! In fact, I don’t even know when I last watched a film. I like a good series.
What is your favourite thing to do at the weekend?
Take my girls somewhere new, or to the beach.
What is your favourite sport to follow?
I follow my husband, who plays American football for the Leicester Panthers. Once his season finishes, I am forced to watch the NFL.
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Does chocolate fudge cake count as a meal?
