Background and industry experience
Callum Joined MEC in January 2024 as a Graduate. Since then, he has been promoted to Lighting Consultant and continues to gain experience and develop his skills.
Callum first graduated University in 2020, achieving a first-class degree in BA (Hons) Human Geography – following that, he completed his master’s degree in MSc Applied Research. Callum is a member of the ILP (Institute of Lighting Professionals), and is hoping to undertake the Exterior Lighting Diploma this year.
At MEC, Callum works within the lighting team on residential and commercial projects including Section 38 and Section 278 street lighting designs. Alongside this, he carries out lighting assessments which involve spending time on site during the night to measure light levels.
Outside of work, Callum enjoys reading books and manga, and going for walks.
