Background and industry experience
Elliot joined MEC in June 2022 as a Graduate Acoustic Consultant. He’s since become an Assistant Acoustic Consultant and has built up his experience over the past 4 years. Elliot studied BSc Geography at the University of Nottingham and is also an Affiliate of the Institute of Acoustics. He is looking to get a role as Technician of the Institute of Acoustics in the near future.
Elliot has completed various projects whilst at MEC, including Dog kennels, padel court assessments, environmental noise assessments, operational noise assessments, vibration and odour surveys. When asked if there are any projects he’s proud of, he stated that he supported the conversion of an old pub into residential use – Blagdon Inn, Paignton.
Outside of work, Elliot takes part in park runs and occasionally plays tennis and golf.
